Mr. Githinji is a seasoned business leader with a 40-year career spanning the public service, telecommunications and financial services sectors. Mr. Githinji has previously worked in the Directorate of Civil Aviation; Societe Internationale de Telecommunications Aeronautiques (SITA); Standard Chartered Bank, Commercial Bank of Africa and NCBA Group in executive leadership positions before retirement. His experience spans diverse disciplines including Technology, Operations, Customer Experience, Risk and Compliance.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) Degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering; and a Diploma in Industrial Studies from Loughborough University of Technology, UK. Mr Githinji has attended various executive and leadership programmes at distinguished colleges and is an alumnus of INSEAD, France; Templeton College, Oxford University; and Darden Business School, University of Virginia. He is also a certified Executive Coach.

Mr Githinji currently serves in several boards as an independent non-executive director.
