Reuben brings over two decades of seasoned experience and expertise in finance and general management, particularly within the insurance sector. He began his career at the Teachers Service Commission, working in internal audit for two years. He then joined Pan Africa Insurance Company (now SANLAM), serving in various capacities within accounts and finance over a five-year tenure.

At British American Insurance, now Britam, Mr. Kibiru further solidified his standing as a strategic leader, spearheading key initiatives within the accounts and finance functions. His pivotal contributions paved the path to his appointment as the inaugural CEO of Britam Rwanda.

Mr. Kibiru holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) Degree from Nairobi University and an MBA in Strategic Management from Moi University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
