Andrew brings to the Cannon Group 40 years of experience in the Financial Services Sector. His career includes three decades of insurance experience spanning Southern, East, and West Africa in executive roles as Chief Operating Officer or Chief Executive Officer for the regional operations of several large multinational financial institutions, specialising in life and general insurance.

Andrew first came to Kenya in 2000, spearheading the then fledgling operations of Sanlam in the region. Since then, he has also worked with the Jubilee Insurance Group, Metropolitan/MMI, and Prudential. Over the years, he has been actively involved in industry activities and has held several prominent positions within the Association of Kenya Insurers, including Deputy Chairman of AKI and Chairman of the Life Insurance Council.

Prior to joining the insurance industry, Andrew studied Accountancy at the University of Cape Town, qualified as a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand.
